The second call for the Global@Venice - Research and Training for Global Challenges will be open until 5 August 2022. It is a new fellowship project jointly funded by the European Union and Ca’ Foscari University of Venice through the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action COFUND. This call will award 7 fellowships lasting 24 months each.

The resources allocated to the programme are about 2.5 million euro (1.1 million euro of which are funded by Ca’ Foscari) and aim to select and attract, over the course of two years, 15 researchers who will work for 24 months on the six interdisciplinary research areas of the Institute for Global Challenges at Ca’ Foscari.

Check out the Meet our G@V fellows page to see the projects of the first 8 fellows selected with the 2021 call.

This major initiative is implemented by Ca’ Foscari together with its corporate partners, including strategic research centres, non-academic networks of spin-offs and small and medium enterprises, where fellows will have the opportunity to do secondment or research and training activity. Have a look at G@V’s supervisors and partners.

Applicants must contact a potential supervisor at Ca’ Foscari who will eventually provide monitoring and support during the fellowship in the Research for Global Challenges Institutes.
