Do you want to start learning Italian before moving here? Are you interested in improving your language skills from wherever you are? Do you want to know more about art and history in Venice?
Then the Ca’ Foscari School for International Education has the right programme for you!

The CFSIE will be offering online intensive Italian language and culture courses in Summer 2021, an effective way to begin learning Italian or improve your knowledge of the language.
The intensive course calendar will allow you to complete the whole learning process in just a few weeks, exploring both the linguistic and cultural features of the Italian language. You will also have the chance to participate in a virtual full immersion in the wonderful city of Venice.

Anyone is welcome to apply: present and future international students, members of partner universities, but also lovers of the Italian language and culture will find these online courses an invaluable instrument for a communicative and fun approach to Italian language learning.

Our online courses feature “distance learning” thanks to the use of multimedia learning tools, so you'll be able to attend the classes even if you're not in Venice.
The classes offered by CFSIE include:

  • direct classes in live streaming, held on Zoom;
  • distance learning activities, supervised by a language expert, on the Moodle platform

The courses are all held by highly qualified native speakers of Italian and cover all levels - from A1 to C1 - of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Each course will be completed by a 10-hour class in Italian Culture, where you’ll have the chance to learn more about history and art in Venice, through 4 online tours that will take you on a virtual trip to discover the masterpieces and hidden treasures of our magical city.

These intensive summer courses will be carried out over a period of 4 or 5 weeks (according to the class level), from July 5th to August 6th 2021. Classes will be held on a daily basis, from Monday to Friday. Timetables will be online soon.

Don’t miss out, you have until 15 June 2021 to apply! Find more information on how to apply on the dedicated page.
